Job description
Position: Mathematics Specialist for 1-6 Grades, 7-9 Grades, 10-12 Grades
We are seeking passionate, creative, and risk taking individuals who are continually growing intellectually and professionally. Compensation:
Salary: 35,000RMB monthly before tax
Housing: housing allowance provided or apartment alternative
Summer and winter vacation payment: full-paid
Airfare: 10,000RMB annually
Bonus: 10,000RMB for the completion of one year contract and 10,000RMB for the renewal contract bonus
Medical insurance and pension: provided
Working visa: processed and cost recovered that caused in China
Working hours: 8:20-11:50 am and 2:00-5pm Monday to Friday
Start date: February of 2020 or September of 2020
Responsiblities:
• The Mathematics Specialist will lead the faculty in deepening and enriching students’ mathematical understanding and fluency, work closely with other teachers to review and implement a Mathematics curriculum based on our current curriculum for different grades.
• The successful candidate will be experienced with designing and providing instruction to meet the needs of a diverse learning community.
• She/He will support and coach teachers as they work with learners through lesson modeling, direct instruction for students, identifying and facilitating professional learning opportunities for teachers, and establishing paths of communication with parents.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years’experience
• An advanced degree with a focus on mathematics and/or mathematics teaching at the graduate or undergraduate level
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and/or designing and leading professional development for teachers
• Skilled in the integration of technology
